2010 EMMR Convention First, regarding the # 9 Curtis Craft Midget owned and driven by non other than Gordon White, monthly column contributor to VOR. I found out that he, in 1988, broke the land speed record at Bonneville, Utah in this very car at 158 something MPH. The record to date has not been broken...Pretty cool! Secondly, the #77 car (number can't be seen since the picture shows him, shall we say, sideways) is our Racing Track Minister, Mike Nickle in his Ford Flathead V-8 / 60 powered red Midget. Pictures also show he and his wife entertaining us prior to his service Sunday morning.
